Bryan, Jessica Emerge As Head Prefects

Bryan Oludare has been elected as the head boy for primary school with a vote count of 89, while Jessica Goenawan won the position of the head girl with a vote count of 49.

The results were made available after the election which took place in the school hall on Friday, February 5.

Voted into other positions were Jayden Oluwafemi who had a vote count of 67 to become the sports prefect, Naveeda Ajala, who had 61 vote count to become the social prefect, and Prosper Nwosu, who was voted as the Welfare prefect with a vote count of 55.

Speaking at the election, the independent observer, Mr. Ojo Ezekiel lauded the students over their victories.

He further urged them to secure good records with the position they have acquired, adding that other students will be looking up to them as role models.

He encouraged candidates who lost votes to be of good courage and cheer up. According to him, there are so many victories ahead of everyone.

While speaking to the students, the Primary School Principal, Mrs. Israel Adedoyin, expressed her satisfaction with the election which she described as “clean and fair.”

She added that letters and badges will be given to the winners of the election by next week Friday, February 12.

Details of the event will be disseminated over the week, as it will be a virtual gathering, she added.
