On a typical day when she gets home from school, she always makes sure to take a shower before anything else. Homework usually follows, and if she finishes that on time, you may find Kikiyinfoluwa Okewale reading one of her favourite books, Jaz Santos Vs. the World before her bedtime.
Currently in year six, Kiki is busy with her preparations for the Checkpoint examinations. Her confidence and brilliance at school can be seen with her outstanding academic performance and her desire to be the next head girl of Grenville primary.
Kiki was born on the 21st of February 2013 . Apart from her love for books and reading, she loves basketball and computers. She expresses her love for the latter during her time at the coding club, where she creates characters and makes them talk. Kiki can also change the the background whenever characters are talking, although, she says that she can’t make a game yet. But it’s fair to say that she will learn and master this in no time, so watch out, gamers!
Another fun fact about Kiki is that she loves all kinds of music…she doesn’t have a favourite artist, but just loves good music. We love an all-rounder, don’t we? Her favourite food at school is white rice, but just like her taste in music, she doesn’t have a favourite food at home; she loves all the types of food that she eats at home.
Kiki’s academic journey has been a great one, as she’s been with grenville right from her nursery years. Her determination and hard work can be seen with how she does her work. When she has a test or any assessment, Kiki studies for them about a week before the date of the assessment. By doing this, she has she can cover more ground and avoid rushing and eventually cramming concepts for the assessment.
Maths and Science are her favourite subjects at the moment, although she says that this wasn’t always the case for Maths. At a time, Maths was not a favourite for Kiki, but the more she payed attention in her classes, she found that it got much easier for her. When she doesn’t understand something during classes, Kiki is not afraid to ask questions after the class, so that she can understand better.
Great job Kiki! Keep shining! 🌟
